Dear Saburo Muraoka Elementary School Families,
As we embark on the 2024-2025 school year, I am filled with excitement and optimism for the journey ahead. At Muraoka, we are committed to nurturing a supportive and engaging environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
This year, our focus remains steadfast on academic excellence and fostering a sense of community among our students, staff, and families. Whether your child is beginning their educational journey with us or returning for another year, we are dedicated to providing them with the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to succeed.
Just as Saburo Muraoka was remembered as a successful, hardworking, leader of peace, Muraoka Elementary aims to practice and embrace these qualities serving as an inspiration to our community. Muraoka Elementary will promote a culture where all learners are encouraged to be creative, collaborative, innovative, inclusive, and develop a deep desire to learn.
We believe in the power of collaboration and communication between home and school. Together, we can create a positive and enriching experience for our students, empowering them to achieve their highest potential and prepare for future challenges. As we progress through the year, information will be sent home via parent letters/electronic flyers, school messages (telephone and email), our school website, Class Dojo, and Peachjar.
